Trust & Support

Plain answers about your idea, your data and your app.

No legal fog. This page says what we do with what you send us, who can see it, how long we keep it, and what happens if you decide to leave.

Your idea and your privacy

What you describe in the planner is used to prepare your Idea Snapshot, your Blueprint and your project. We do not sell it, and we do not publish it as an example without your written permission.

CAB staff can read your idea, your answers and your project records in order to do the work. Nobody outside CAB and our service providers sees them.

Files you upload

When you attach a file, we read it and keep the text and details we extracted so your Blueprint reflects what you sent. The original file is stored with your project record and stays available to you and to CAB staff working on your project.

If you want an attachment deleted, email us and we will remove the file and the extracted text from your project.

How long we keep things

Unpaid planner sessions are kept so you can come back and resume where you left off. Paid Blueprints, project records, agreements, payment records and delivered work are kept for as long as you are a client and afterwards for our accounting and legal obligations.

You can ask for your project data at any time and we will send you an export.

Service providers

We run on established third-party infrastructure for hosting, the database, email delivery, payments and AI processing. Payments are handled by our payment processor — CAB never stores your card number.

We do not claim certifications we do not hold, and we do not publish an uptime guarantee we have not agreed with you in writing.

Account access and sign-in

Client Portal access is tied to your email address. A Quick Status Update needs only your CAB code and shows status — not your files, messages or payment details.

Ask us to add or remove a teammate's access at any time.

Ownership and leaving CAB

When your build is paid in full, the application we built for you is yours. That includes the source code, the accounts created for your project and a full data export.

If you move off CAB hosting, we hand over the code and accounts and help you transfer. Managed App Care can be cancelled at any time; cancelling Care ends hosting, monitoring, backups and maintenance from CAB, so plan the handover before your final Care month ends.

Something wrong? Contact a person

Support and incident contact: hello@columbusappbuilders.com · (706) 566-1416. Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET.

If your live app is down and you are on Managed App Care, say so in the subject line and we treat it as an incident rather than a normal request.

Project status lookup is not a service-status page: it tells you where your project stands, not whether our systems are online.
