Who we are

Columbus App Builders ("CAB", "we", "us") designs and builds software for small businesses. We are located at 1190 Front Ave, Columbus, GA 31901. This policy explains what information we collect through columbusappbuilders.com and the CAB Client Portal, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, business details, the app idea you describe, files you upload, messages you send, and your electronic signature on project documents.

Information from Google sign-in: if you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us using the standard openid, email, and profile permissions. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, contacts, or any other Google data.

Payment information: payments are processed by our payment provider. We see the amount, date, and status of each payment, but we do not store full card numbers.

Technical information: basic usage data such as pages visited, device type, and sign-in times, used to keep the service secure and working.

How we use Google user data

We use the name, email, and profile picture received from Google only to sign you in, verify your identity, connect you to your project in the CAB Client Portal (by matching your email to your CAB file), and display your name in your account.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide the service or as required by law, and do not use it to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.

How we use your information

To plan, price, design, build, and support your project; to send project updates, payment schedules, reminders, and signing links; to respond to your questions; to keep accounts secure; and to meet legal and accounting obligations.

We contact you about your project only. We do not enroll you in marketing campaigns without your permission.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate (hosting, database, email delivery, payment processing, scheduling), under obligations to protect it, or when required by law.

Storage, security, and retention

Your information is stored with reputable cloud providers, encrypted in transit, and protected by access controls so only you and the CAB staff working on your project can see it.

We keep your information for as long as your account or project is active and as needed afterward for legal, tax, and support records. Signed agreements are kept as proof of what was agreed.

Your choices and deleting your data

You can remove CAB's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing hello@columbusappbuilders.com. We will respond within 30 days and delete your data, including any Google user data, unless we must keep certain records by law.

Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13.
